Comments

"future obligations put our real debt figure at roughly fifty trillion"

I think that number is very optimistic. It is a fiscal GAP -- it is the gap between (pretty much) known obligations and PROJECTED revenue in a *growing* economy. As we have been "growing" on debt and heading toward some sort of unwinding -- this gap could rocket past $100T AND private savings in markets cannot possibly thrive when the overall economic picture is so difficult.

That asteroid is looking better all the time.

Edward Charles Ponzi Jr, Futurist

Ron Paul is the one of the very, very few men in our nation's capitol that truly understands the history and nature of money - i.e. the blatant unconstitutionality of the Federal Reserve and the historical repetitions we see in our current economy, with all signs pointing to a collapse.
