I regularly highlight blogs and other websites that offer interesting and insightful commentary (links to virtually all of them are listed in the column on the right of Financial Armageddon).
One site I've been a fan of for a long time is Tim Iacono's The Mess That Greenspan Made (in fact, I mention it in my book).
Although the post Tim published this morning, "This Stuff Disgusts Me," is brief, he just about says it all.
Do you think any of the regulatory agencies in Washington have any idea where the swarming locusts have recently landed, now in the process of devouring one more part of the great American ownership society?
My guess is NO!

I can't believe I didn't have you on my blogroll! How rude of me. I just added a link.

I had noticed an increase in adds for risky mortgages here in Canada recently, and assumed that it was US fly-by-night bad debt peddlers looking for a new place to roost (or maybe Cdn losers imitating a bad idea, hard to tell). Either way I wasn't too pleased and I'm hoping they don't do too much damage. But targetting seniors; that's just crap. The sad part is if you try to warn parents/grandparents about these garbage products you may just end up looking like you're being greedy.
