Thank you for frequently posting articles that question our employment statistics. Like Isidore states, the numbers are not the whole story. It's one thing to have a 4.8% unemployment rate where most workers are relatively satisfied with their salaries, perceived job security, and the ability to obtain an equivalent or better job if they quit or are laid off. It's another thing to have a 4.8% unemployment rate if the workers are having problems paying their bills, fear being laid off at any moment, and are worried about getting the next job before the unemployment benefits run out.
