Yes it's all about people.I have made similar statements myself but in the end it's how we organize ourselves to make a living,do we madly compete to see who gets to be the top Alfa Dog or do we cooperate for the benefit of all with respect and care for nature and it's living things

I was listening to the radio this morning and musing on a report about traffic in Moscow, where luxury cars fills the streets. And where organized crime controls muchy of life. I was thinking that the collapse of the soviet system left a sort of moral void so that unchecked greed is normal now--the Russians don't have some other strong belief system that would rein in the appalling behavior.
It occurred to me on reading this article that we're not that different. A champagne and black tie affair to celebrate people who made millions scamming financially naive, (generally) poorer and less educated people. These people are loathsome. There simply isn't another word for it.
