Although it is still a little rough around the edges (I'm working on that), I've set up a new blog, When Giants Fall, that delves more deeply into the issues I focus on in my next book, which I describe as "an economic roadmap for the end of the American era."
Among the topics I will be covering at the new site, which can be found at www.economicroadmap.com, are a seismic shift in the global order; oil, water, food and other resource constraints; the prospect of increasing violence and heightened conflict in our world; and, the end of globalization.
For those who are interested, today's post at WGF, entitled "Attitudes Are Changing," has to do with a topic I've touched upon a few times before at Financial Armageddon: the rise of protectionism. Feel free to have a look.

The U.S. is screwing up, but we should not just assume that our greatness is over. It could be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Economic has-beens do not have good lives. We do our kids no favor by not fighting for them.

Best of luck with the new book--I'm looking forward to reading it. I read Financial Armageddon last year about this time and moved all my investments into safer territory--you saved me thousands.
