Many people (including me) believe that the U.S. unemployment rate is much higher than the figure reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Regardless, I would say that the following chart, which appeared in recent a BLS Issues in Labor Statistics background paper, "Involuntary Part-Time Work on the Rise," speaks volumes about the health of the jobs market -- and the economy.

This is a good example of why so many people are avoiding the main stream media and getting their news from the internet.
Websites like this don't ignore their readers like the MSM does.

BLS rate? HAHAHAHAHA!!! As proof in the pudding that the wrong metric is used, last week's report was that weekly claims dropped by 94,000, almost a 20% drop from the week before. Who can believe any of it.

If ever there was a proverbial "False Prophet," it would be the people who feed this sort of crap to us.
