Yes things are different.The world is in the midst
of profound changes. But Sears or any other business
are not in the retail trade for charitable social
programs ,,,, and the word of the day for consumers
is BEWARE of sugar coated offers,read the fine print.

Good article.

"Lose your job keep your fridge." Sounds like something meaningful from Sears.
This is 180 degrees out from the car companies which say loose your job bring the car back to us with no risk to your credit report. What the car companies are doing are simply making their jobs easier and removing the middleman from the repo process. People who loose their job are realizing how bogus the car return policy is. I heard on CNBC last week that one of the auto manufactures have had only 5 car returns nation-wide since implementing the car policy.
